The Clean Drinking Farms Communiy was part of the earliest land grants from Charles, The Third Lord Baltimore back in 1698.  The land grant was called Clean Drinking Manor for the fresh bubbling spring located within its boarders. The fresh spring still flows and according to legend, George Washington drank from its waters, as documented in his diary that he "tarried for a thankful rest at Clean Drinking's hospitable hearth". 

Today, Clean Drinking Farms is a wonderful community neighborhood with year around events, including the neighborhood pool, the Audubon Naturalist Society nature preserve, the recreation association, block parties, festivals, neighbor gatherings, for singles, couples, adults, families, and kids . You may move to Clean Drinking Farms as a stranger, but with all the variety of activities Clean Drinking Farms offers residets, you won't be a stranger for long. 

Close to Parkview Estates in northern Chevy Chase, Clean Drinking Farms offers an easy commute to downtown Washington, D.C. via Rock Creek Park. This neighborhood of colonials and ramblers from the 1950s enjoys convenient access to the Audobon Society, the Capital-Crescent Trail, Route 270, and the Capital Beltway.
