Clean Drinking Farms

Chevy Chase,

The Clean Drinking Farms Communiy was part of the earliest land grants from Charles, The Third Lord Baltimore back in 1698.  The land grant was called Clean Drinking Manor for the fresh bubbling spring located within its boarders. The fresh spring still flows and according to legend, George Washington drank from its waters, as documented in his diary that he "tarried for a thankful rest at Clean Drinking's hospitable hearth".
